الجَواب
THE ANSWER
1ـ الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : إذا ازْدَحَمَ الجَوابُ خَفِيَ الصَّوابُ.
1– Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘Where there are several answers, the correct one will remain hidden.’
[Nahj al-Balagha, Saying 243]
2ـ الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : رُبَّما اُرتِجَ على الفَصيحِ الجَوابُ.
2– Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘Sometimes even the eloquent fails to come up with an answer.’
[Ghurar al-Hikam, no. 5378]
3ـ الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : مَن أسْرَعَ في الجَوابِ لَم يُدرِكِ الصَّوابَ.
3– Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘He who rushes to give answers will not perceive the truth.’

4ـ الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : مِن بُرهـانِ الفَضـلِ صائبُ الجَـوابِ.
4– Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘One of the proofs of virtue is giving correct answers.’

5ـ الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : دَعِ الحِدَّةَ وتَفَكَّرْ في الحُجَّةِ وتَحفَّظْ مِن الخَطَلِ، تأمَنِ الزَّلَلَ .
5– Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘Leave sharpness and reflect instead on the argument, and avoid idle talk in order to be safe from error.’

6ـ الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : إذا حَلُمْتَ عنِ الجاهِلِ فَقَد أوْسَعْتَهُ جَواباً.
6– Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘If you remain clement with the ignorant, you give him indeed an adequate answer.’

7ـ الإمامُ عليٌّ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : رُبَّ كلامٍ جَوابُهُ السُّكوتُ.
7– Imam Ali (AS) said, ‘Many a speech is answered by silence.’

8ـ الإمامُ الصّادقُ (عَلَيهِ الّسَلامُ) : إنّ مَن أجابَ في كلِّ مايُسْألُ عَنهُ لَمَجنونٌ .
8– Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, ‘He who answers regarding all that is asked is mad.’

الجَواب
THE ANSWER
